Transitioning In To Fall Style

I hope by now, most of you are starting to feel a little bit of fall in the air? I know we FINALLY are, and it’s heavenly! I’ve already made a cup of hot chocolate (or two) and had some soup last night for dinner! LOVE this time of year! And when it comes to dressing, it feels warm enough for just a tee, but a jacket still needed for at least part of the day. However, transitioning in to fall when it comes to fashion can be hard! A heavy sweater is too much, but just a tee is not enough.

THIS look here, is one of my favorite ways to move in to the fall season. A pair of your favorite jeans, a cool pair of shoes, a white tee, and a suede jacket. And don’t forget some cool jewelry! This gorgeous necklace I’m wearing is from j.forks Designs. The perfect piece for fall with it’s fun leather fringe! My cute lace-up shoes are from Downeast and you won’t believe the price-point! All under $50!!! They have super cute styles!

When I think of fall I think of textures, such as suede and faux fur, as well as color. Like this burnt orange which I love for accessories! This look has hints of fall, but isn’t overkill yet, as the weather isn’t ALL the way cooled off. Also think of your makeup colors. I pulled out my bright red lipgloss called Chilli to wear with the jacket, which I always love red lips!

What are your transition tips? I’d like to know!!!

  1. Love this on you! I am borrowing my sister’s turquoise western boots to wear with my LBD, a chunky turquoise necklace and a pair of you guessed it, turquoise beaded earrings and my favorite denim jacket to meet up with friends tomorrow night to go hear EmmyLou Harris! We are beyond excited! I was channeling you when I was trying to decide what to wear, what would Shauna wear?! Lol! Have a blessed week!
