Sixty Two Years Old And Going Strong!

Sixty Two Years Old And Going Strong

SIXTY TWO YEARS OLD AND GOING STRONG!

How do my birthdays come so fast? With each passing year, I think to myself, “I can’t be this age, I still feel like I’m in my 30’s!” Crazy how that is, don’t you think? But in all honesty…. I’m very proud of my age, and if anything it just makes me more determined to age gracefully and as healthy as possible!

My BIRTHDAY REEL is HERE.

AGING ISN’T FOR SISSIES

My sixties have kicked me in the butt, no doubt. My daddy used to say that AGING ISN’T FOR SISSIES, and he’s right!!!! I feel more tired, have to watch my diet more carefully and definitely feeling the aches and pains in my feet and in my back. But if I look at my overall health, I’m pretty darn healthy for someone my age. I’m grateful every day for a body that can get up and work, and exercise, and run and play with my grandkids. I’m very lucky, but I also work VERY HARD to feel this way.

OUR HEALTH IS WEALTH

You have all  heard the saying HEALTH IS WEALTH. What does it mean to you? Our health should be considered one of the most valuable things we have! Good health not only means the absence of any disease in our bodies,  but also physical, mental, and spiritual well-being as well. Just consider if you didn’t have your health!

My health has ALWAYS BEEN A PRIORITY for me. As I’ve said before, I’m not perfect, but I’ve found a  way of balancing my diet and exercise with my personal life. There are certain things I absolutely stay away from, and then things I will indulge in, which you have to be able to ENJOY!

Whether it’s your diet or your exercise or even your spiritual health, YOU HAVE to take it seriously. How you feel, and how I feel is critical to how we relate to the world around us. If I feel good, I’m a MUCH HAPPIER PERSON, which then makes me a better person for everyone around me!

So…… SIXTY TWO YEARS OLD AND GOING STRONG. Yep I will never give up on my health and I will ALWAYS BE PROUD OF MY AGE!

Take care friends!

Shauna XO
