LOOKING GOOD WHILE WORKING OUT
To some this may seem trivial, and in the whole realm of things, it really is. BUT…… I honestly feel that when I take the time to dress, in whatever I’m doing, I feel and DO better! And gym time is no exception. Unquestionably it makes such a difference! There is MUCH to be said about the connection between how you look and how you approach your day!
Do you think it’s important to look good in the gym? If you do your workouts in your home does your efforts change? How do you feel about the whole thing? Obviously the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to make sure YOU GO TO THE GYM or getting outside to walk or to run!
Workout clothing can be so expensive. I’m usually never afraid of spending money on it because I KNOW that it will be put to good use! And I always find a way to wear my exercise clothes EVERYDAY!
KEY PIECES TO LOOKING GOOD WHILE WORKING OUT
I would wear ANY of these. Pair the bright leggings with a subtle top, or bright tops with subtle bottoms. OR…… go for it and mix the colors together! I would say that you get what you pay for. The more you pay, the better quality and the longer they will last, as well as they will wash up better.
HOW I WOULD STYLE FOR EVERYDAY
In addition to working out…. I would wear these pieces everyday. And as I said before, with the price we pay for some of these, it’s good to know you can wear them more than just in the gym. It used to be back in the day (my 20’s and 30’s) that workout wear everyday was unheard of. Without a doubt, it’s the norm nowadays!
I personally would just make sure to ADD A JACKET and make sure the legging or bottom half is appropriate (not see-thru). Or what I do quite often is to wear my leggings OR joggers with an oversized cashmere sweater and booties. IDEA #3!
DON’T FORGET THE SHOES
Along with clothing, SHOES are important too, especially for working out. Without a doubt, wearing a good shoe is essential! I wanted to show you all different price points. Just remember that you get what you pay for in a shoe. The more you spend, the longer they’ll last.
It all comes down to, the better you look, the more confidence you’ll have. And so by looking good while working out will be just one more step in getting your best workout done! Indeed there are so many positive effects on the connection between looking and feeling good, to being able to conquer your workouts!
