Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, and I’m already thinking about WHAT TO WEAR! Whether you’re hosting at home, heading out for dinner, escaping to the mountains, or celebrating with friends, there’s something about dressing for the occasion that makes the day feel even more special. And of course, COMFORT is a MUST, especially when there’s a delicious Thanksgiving feast involved! Am I right? Here are some outfit ideas for wherever you’re celebrating this year.

THANKSGIVING AT HOME
If you’re hosting or enjoying a cozy day with family, think comfy but still CUTE! A statement SKIRT and soft cashmere SWEATER paired with METALLIC FLATS or a RELAXED SWEATER, layering LACE TEE and some BALLOON STYLE PANTS with statement LOAFERS, both great choices. Add some FUN JEWELRY or a pretty SCARF to make things more interesting. And don’t forget comfy shoes…. these are critical! And if you’re the one cooking, even more important!

THANKSGIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS
I LOVE this idea…. so cozy! Think chunky sweaters, warm layers, great denim, and fabulous boots. However if you are the one hosting, I’d stick with the jeans, but go with more of a lightweight sweater, maybe with a thinner top underneath so it’s easy to remove if you get to hot in the kitchen. A scarf can really enhance your look, and there’s so many ways to wear one. Mountain celebrations are all about staying warm while still looking fabulous!
