This Little Dress

It has been one busy weekend for me! Lots of time with my littles and not complaining one bit! My time with them is precious, and making memories is one thing I’ll never regret! But it did wipe me out, and I’m ready for NYC this week!!! Yay!

But back to this little dress. It’s here. This can be worn by any body type, ANY! It has a tie you can wrap around the waist, but I chose to wear it here without. It’s loose, cool, and the embroidered sleeves are what makes it stand out! It would also look so cute with a pair of skinny jeans and then tied at the waist! The dress over pants look! It’s from Anthropologie, I bet you couldn’t have guessed!!! Yep, it’s my go-to store!

Hope you all have a great week!

Shauna…XO

    1. Hi Marilyn, I always have links within my blog post of where to get my clothes….that is if they are still available. This dress is from Anthropologie and the link is in the post.

  1. Hi Shauna,

You inspire me to be the best I can. At 57, it is the whole package I am focusing on – health – both physical and mental, attitude and gratitude! Thank you!

Noticed you had a slip or cami under the dress – where did you get this?

      1. Thank you Shauna for the link. The tops are soo cute!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Look forward to hearing more on your NYC adventures!

    1. Hi Kimberly, thank you for stopping by!!! What a SWEET comment!!! That means so much coming from you! I feel you’re the same! XO

  2. You always look great! Do you tan or use self tanner? If you use self tanner which one do you use? Thanks!

    1. Hi Cynthia, thank you for your comment! Sometimes I’ll use a tanner, but not always. I just use a drugstore brand, Jergens! 🙂

  3. HI Shauna, I just discovered you on Fabulous over 40 – and glad i did! I am 5’3″ and 59 yrs old. You are an inspiration to not fall into the frumpy trap or limit yourself and your options because of your age. I would appreciate it if you would post the sizes you purchase and your measurements and weight. It sure would save a lot of guess work when it comes to ordering items you have posted. Thank you!!

    1. Hi Shelia! Thank you for following along, I’m glad you like my message!!! Not sure I want to post my measurements, yep…I’m really sure I don’t want to do that! But I’m a size S, size 0-2 pants, or a 25-26 in jeans. Hope that helps!

  4. Shauna, I recently discovered your blog and it has sparked an interest in cute clothes again! I actually am 65 years old and petite being only 4’11 1/2 ” tall now (I shrunk!) I would like to join so I can keep up and communicate. Thanks, Deborah R.
