One thing I do know for sure is that I need to STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES. I LOVE my new husband for many reasons but one of the reasons is that he truly does make me stop and enjoy the simple things in life!!!!!!!! He is much slower paced than I am, and I tend to get in to these “frantic” modes when I get stressed. He seriously calms me, thank heavens!
Do any of you remember this song by Mac Davis? Listen to the words!!!!
And….if it were me on this particular day…..I would have totally driven through this BEAUTIFUL landscape of Lees Ferry. It’s a gorgeous place located on the northernmost edge of the Grand Canyon! It’s absolutely stunning and takes your breath away! We spent about 30-40 minutes here on our way home from Arizona and I was so glad we did!
I’m constantly learning how to be better at juggling all of my responsibilities. It seems that I sort of have it down, until I realize I don’t at all. I’ve been living out of a suitcase for so long now, and my life has been extremely busy with traveling, working, and being married. I know I must slow down or something is going to force me to. I’d rather figure out how to do that on my own before something else does.
I posted the picture here, on Instagram the other day and there were a bunch of comments on the jeans. They are the lower rise style, and I love them. I’ve had them though for several years…..actually about 5-7 years. But I still love them and wear them, so they are still in my closet! I’ve linked a few here. Believe it or not….there are still some of us that like the lower-rise jean!!!! And…..guess whose shirt I’m wearing? HIS! I love to wear his shirts tied up like this with my favorite jeans!
Wishing you all a great rest of your week…..remember to stop and smell the roses! I’m just home from Memphis and will be posting on that in a couple of weeks. Watch for my CHICOS post on everything I wore on my amazing CRUISE with Princess Cruises! I’ll show you how I put all this together! Everything will be linked up for you!
