REVISITING GREECE: MY PACKING ESSENTIALS
This week, I finally get the chance to revisit Greece. I’ve been wanting to see it again since my honeymoon a little over four years ago. Last time I was in Athens, Olympia and Santorini. It was gorgeous then (especially Santorini) and so this opportunity was more than exciting for me. I’ll be traveling with Exodus Adventure Travels, on a guided tour with my bestie. A blog will be coming when I return, and can’t wait to share all the details.
As you may know, I always think and re-think about what I’m packing. Not only do I want to be prepared with the essentials, but for me the whole process is kind of fun. Given the time of year, I’m packing my suitcase with comfort in mind….. opting for sneakers, athleisure-wear, and plenty of layers.
Packing involves careful consideration of versatile clothing to accommodate changing weather and diverse activities. Layers because they will allow me to adjust to fluctuating temperatures throughout the day. Lightweight jackets, cardigans, sweaters, and scarves that I can take on and off easily, is the smartest way to think about packing.
Comfortable shoes are a must for all the walking I’ll be doing. I’ve got three pair to mix things up. I’ll also have one pair of shoes for dressing up in, which are similar to THESE. They are still comfy and versatile too. Along with my sneakers I’ll pack several pairs of socks to keep my feet cozy and blister-free.
To make the most out of my luggage space, I’ve chosen pieces that can mix and match. This way, I can create multiple outfits from a few key items, ensuring I have options for any occasion without overpacking. I’ve got leggings, joggers, jeans, one skirt, one dress, sweaters, shirts, tees, and jackets. I always take a hat and especially for this trip as we’ll be outside a lot. Most of my things (you see I said MOST lol) are lightweight and pack small. I do have one pair of a bulkier style pant, and the dress I chose to take does have lots of fabric. But I feel with everything else mostly packing small, I can afford these couple of things.

No doubt I will get there and there will be something that I should have brought! Insert an EYE-ROLL EMOJI HERE! But there is so much satisfaction going on a trip and wearing everything you brought, and that’s what I’m aiming to do! Tell me how y’all are with achieving this goal when you travel!
