MOTHER’S DAY GIFTS SHE’LL LOVE
With Mother’s Day in less than two weeks, I thought I’d share some gift ideas with you. I remember shopping for my mama… simple and uncomplicated. She made it known to us (in a very kind way) that she didn’t need anything more for her shelves or walls. She wasn’t a woman that needed a lot of clothes, jewelry, or shoes. So it got to be a little bit challenging trying to find the perfect gift for her. I was always safe getting her a new outfit however, often from Coldwater Creek. She liked the way their clothes fit her, and it was usually something that she wouldn’t have spent the money on to buy for herself. One of the last things I bought for her were Uggs, always telling me how cozy they felt on her feet. I actually have them now and wear them almost everyday.
I’m a believer in the power of simplicity and practicality….. at least most of the time. I think when buying gifts it’s a great mindset to have, in order to find a gift that the receiver will really love and use. I’ve handpicked these selections that any mother would appreciate.

IF you do want to get your mother a beautiful dress, THIS ONE is perfect. It’s flattering for all body types, colorful, and made with a beautiful cotton and silk blend. I personally would LOVE this dress! It could also be worn with some pretty flat sandals and then dressed up with some heels. Also wear it open like a duster or a kimono. If your mother has a love for chocolate, I PROMISE they will thank you forever. THIS CHOCOLATE IS MY FAVORITE I’ve ever had. I used to go to NYC a lot, and would stop at this chocolatier and stock up. It’s out of Paris and so smooth and mouth-watering!
I LOVE a cozy blanket. Isn’t THIS ONE adorable? Oh my goodness I would love to cuddle up on the sofa next to my husband wrapped in this. And what about the size, 50″ x 60″, big enough for two! It also makes the cutest accessory lying across your sofa or bed.
