Maxi Skirt Style

Hi friends….just a short post today, but wanted to share. I’ve ALWAYS been drawn to MAXI anything. The look is just so feminine which I love all things girly! And I have worn lots of maxi dresses through the years which I do love, but can be much harder to mix up than a maxi skirt! This skirt I have a feeling is going to be on REPEAT for most of my spring and summer! How would YOU style it? I loved it here with this striped button-down. Florals and stripes are my favorite mix of patterns! I’ve linked some favorites here. But what about the skirt with a tee shirt and tennies, or with some sort of lightweight oversized pullover sweater? That would be cute, right? I would need mine to be a little cropped so I wouldn’t get lost in the fullness…..a taller girl would be just fine with one longer. A denim jacket would always work….if you don’t have one, you need one. THE most versatile piece of clothing in my closet!!!

Anyway……hope you all have a HAPPY SUNDAY!

    1. YES!!! If we shout loud enough, maybe our spring will stay!!! We are snowing here today!!! :O Have a GREAT week Mich! XO

  1. I don’t think I could have improved on your picks for this outfit, except maybe a colored tee or tank. I too agree that it’s very “spring-y”. I prefer to cover my legs personally, and for the summer longer
    flowy styles catch my eye

    1. Well then YOU would LOVE this skirt Cheryl! And I didn’t even have to hem it for being a short girl! It’s so SO cute worn casually! XO

      1. So you’re short and it fit fine. The wife loves them too BUT she’s short 5’3 and a lot of them are to long. She has a few long dresses but are hard to wear

  2. Wow…I love this colorful maxi skirt! These are my favorite outfits. This is the perfect look for day night and weekend outing. Thanks for sharing.
