Re-capping Anthropologie’s Summer Fashion Show the other night! It was another fantastic event put on by some amazing girls! Way back several months ago, Ilene @stylemumdc who I knew through Instagram, and works at Anthro, saw that I had hosted the Spring Fashion Show in Chicago. She mentioned I should come there, and I said “when”! Well it happened thanks to her, and with the help of Lindsay, the visual store manager!
 It was such a blast to be there doing what I love…..playing with beautiful clothing! Anthropologie is my playground, and it’s like I told everyone attending….Anthro can outfit ANYONE….ANY AGE! I really believe that. It’s NOT just for the young girls! I saw so many women there that night that were close to my age! It was SO NICE! Their stores are absolutely such fun to be in, even if you’re just browsing!!!
My first look was this beautiful metallic dress! I wore my white leather jacket over the top, with a white chunky necklace as the only piece of jewelry! The shoes unfortunately are sold out….the ever-trending slide in white and navy! The dress, I wore all day yesterday in a dressed-down look!

My second runway look was this adorable blue pin-striped jumpsuit! I’m so in love with jumpsuits, as many of you know, and it seems every one of them is in some shade of blue!!! The blue tassel earrings were such a fun accessory to finish it all off! And I loved the silver metallic bag! It would be such a great bag to take to the beach, and metallic goes with EVERYTHING! I thought the jumpsuit would be cute to styled with a colorful belt in a bright color, and flip-flops or tennis!

It was such fun to meet some new friends and get to know them better. This one is Ilene, and the second is Melissa from @melissa_classicmodel and her puppy, Cupcake! Cupcake was even in the fashion show!!! There’s a cute video I posted on Instagram a couple of days ago, of some of us strutting our stuff! I met others but didn’t get a chance to get a picture of them! They were all so lovely!

Hi Kris….yes the jacket is true to size. Mine is an XS. It’s really comfortable and soft!!!! xo
