COLOR COMBOS I LOVE

Y’all know that I’ve always loved color…. it’s truly where I feel the most like myself. From the pieces I wear to the lipsticks and glosses I reach for, I naturally gravitate toward bright, happy hues. My closet reflects that too! It’s full of color and very low on neutrals! There’s just something about wearing color that feels expressive, confident, and downright full of life.

Let’s talk in this blog post, about fun and interesting color combinations. It’s easy to feel stuck in what we think works for us, but seeing new and different combos, can inspire more creativity. And that’s the goal….. is to have more fun and freedom in our own unique style! Let’s get started!

COLOR COMBOS I LOVE

This is a go-to for many, and might be classified as one of the happiest! Yellow brings energy and optimism, while blue grounds the look with a calm and classic sophistication. Whether it’s a soft pastel mix or a bold cobalt with sunshine yellow, this combo always feels fresh.

Once considered a clash, this duo is now a huge fashion favorite. It’s bold, feminine, and full of fun. The key is embracing the contrast….. it’s meant to stand out! Really it is so much fun!

So warm and playful, this combination looks like a beautiful sunset. It’s also another really fun and playful one, and yet another fave of mine. Another things about color…… it feels youthful to me, much more so than neutrals.

This is one I’ve not tried so much, but definitely eye-catching and has such a richness and depth to it. This emerald with lilac or deep plum with soft sage….. co chic and unique.

These neighboring colors create a harmonious, nature-inspired look. By blending shades like teal and navy with softer tones such as mint and sky blue, you achieve a balanced palette. As a result, it becomes an easy and effortless way to wear color without feeling overdone. A great combination to try if you’re not used to a lot of color.

Without a doubt, this bright, beachy combination feels like a vacation outfit. It’s lively and fresh, making it perfect when you want to stand out. It’s also one of my go-to pairings with turquoise.

Finally, color is meant to be fun, expressive, and personal. Don’t be afraid to mix, match, and experiment with color. After all, the best outfits are the ones that make you feel like you!

  1. Good post! I’m known to look up what color goes with the pair of bright pink crop pants by asking the internet what color goes well with them. Anthropology comes out with fabulous pants. I know I’ve also seen some of yours that you’ve purchased. Navy, green and red. Even burgundy and orange.
Next time I’ll be reading your post for more ideas because you enjoy bright colors!

  2. Jo….. so many options. You can really get creative with all kinds of pairings. I just always make sure there are NO MORE than three colors and two neutrals going on in one outfit. That seems to keep things under control!!! LOL! Have a great end to your week! Thanks always for stopping by! XO

  3. I think this season I’m going to go pink! 🩷 it really pairs well with red, orange, neutrals. Great post.
