Dressing Like a Lady Boss

Hey friends…I’ve been missing in action, MOVING! But happy to be here answering your questions and considering your ideas! I’ve gotten a lot of requests recently about HOW TO DRESS CUTE AND PROFESSIONAL FOR THE OFFICE. In fact……I like to call it, HOW TO DRESS LIKE A LADY BOSS!! There’s still a way to look chic, and stylish and not boring at all. Because after all, BORING is BORING is BORING!!!!!

I’ve picked out three different office-type looks, that I think are FUN, BEAUTIFUL, and PROFESSIONAL all at the same time! If I worked in an office, I would for sure wear any of these three! Remember that each office is different and would have their own standards of what’s acceptable. These are just my ideas and you can tweak them however you like to make them work in to your setting!

Look one…..I LOVE this skirt! It has such fun detailing and would look so cute without the jacket, perhaps with a button-down shirt or maybe a lightweight sweater and TUCKED in with this skirt!!!!!

Look two….this window pane jacket is so on trend right now, and I LOVE it with these red pants. The pants have a bit of a different and unique twist to them, and paired with the jacket I liked everything else simple. Basic black loafers, a white button down and simple jewelry!

Look three….you have to love a velvet blazer, right? And, YES you can wear it to the office! I put it with this fun classic pleated navy skirt and some cute heels, along with a basic cream colored ESSENTIAL top! And this all-around bag to carry your laptop in is also considered an ESSENTIAL lady boss piece!!!

How do you like to dress for your office? Mine actually is some joggers and a big sweater and my Uggs!!!!!!

  1. Turning off my ad blocker is not in my comfort zone so sadly I cannot see the pictures on the blog or where you purchased the items. More and more bloggers have this requirement.

  2. You can be my Boss anytime! And I hope the move left you with enough closet space ?

  3. I’ve always, since the 80’s, loved blazers. What a way to really dress up an outfit. It commands attention, respect!!
