Aren’t you happy that the weekend is here? But don’t you think they come around way too fast…..and then they go so fast………..and then it’s MONDAY again???? I’m not sure how I feel about this? I LOVE THE WEEKENDS so much, and wish they hung around a little longer!!!!!!
This picture I posted yesterday, but I wanted to talk about this makeup application. I’ve always said that if your eyes are dark, then light lips, OR……bold lips then more minimal eyes. But…..you see here I’ve sort of done both! You know me……IT JUST DEPENDS! I’m all over the place when it comes to “rules”. I’ll say never to do something, and then before you know it, I’ve done just what I said I would never do!!!!
I love to mix things up ALL THE TIME! I get so bored of doing the same thing every single day! Fashion is so much fun to play around with! Last night I did a “LIVE” on Instagram with my friend Barbi. We talked about pixie cuts and how women should change things up and not get stuck all the time with their long hair. If you are just thinking about going short or doing something different with your hair….YOU SHOULD! Hair will grow back! I promise!
So these are the makeup products that I’ve used here in this look….a dark eye and bright punchy lips! First is my foundation and it is SO FABULOUS and feels SO GOOD on my skin!!! I’ve been wearing it for many years! I actually put on my foundation very last. The first thing I do is use this primer for my eyelids. It really does help keep your shadow in place and makes the color pop more. Then THESE eyeshadow packs are SO GOOD! They are great to travel with because everything is right here in one container! This is my eyebrow makeup right now…..and very easy to just brush on for a really natural brow! Blush is most always THIS…..like I mean for years I’ve worn this! The color is Orgasm. Here is the lipstick in this pic, with this lipgloss over the top. Bitter Orange is the shade of gloss. And my eyelashes are fake and I LOVE them!
So there….you have it. I know I’ve blogged about this multiple times before, but so many of you ask me all the time, so I felt it was worth doing another one!
AND MY COAT IS ON SALE…..I blogged yesterday more about it, but such a great deal for something that is so COZY and SOFT!

I’ve always loved a strong eye and a bold lip. All about balance, and I think as we age our lips tend to fade away. I love a mauve lipliner to color in my lips followed by a similar lipstick. Aveda makes great duos! And don’t forget about the eyebrows, right!? You always look so smartly put together with a current/youthful flair! ???????????
