I often get asked how to style a particular item, which I LOVE to do and usually comes easy for me. Today I wanted to show you ways to style a linen skirt. I recently found THIS ONE and fell in love with the color and length. It’s going to be really cute, comfy and cool throughout the spring and summer styled with a simple tee.
I’m starting to see all the linen everywhere, and have found some beautiful things. It’s the kind of fabric that you either love or hate. Linen fabrics have gotten so much better as far as the way it looks and feels. It’s also much easier to care for these days. Linen the perfect fabric for summer because it’s incredibly lightweight and breathable.
FIVE WAYS TO STYLE THIS LINEN SKIRT
FIRST is with a tee. Choose any GRAPHIC TEE you have, find a coordinating neck scarf and your shoes can be anything from booties to sandals. A hat would finish this look up nicely. A cute look for any of your casual gatherings or even out running your errands.
SECOND I’ve styled it with a beautiful WRAP SWEATER. This is a great sweater for ANYTIME of the year. I love the wrap style as it adds shape to your whole look. You can wear something underneath for an added layer if you need. A classic white button-down shirt looks great with this sweater.
THIRD I’ve added the sweetest little WHITE LINEN TOP. It has the cutest sleeves and detail in the back. I LOVE this top with jeans, skirts, and shorts. Another thing about it that’s so good, is that it’s not super see-thru like some linen can be. It’s just adorable!
FOURTH is with some stripes. I love this combination too. THIS SHIRT has been on repeat since I got home from Africa. It goes with EVERYTHING, and the oversized style gives you so many options! It’s as versatile OR MORE than a denim shirt!
FIFTH is my personal favorite. THIS YELLOW TOP is adorable. It has the perfect sleeve length, and the ruffles add such a fun vibe! The yellow is so cheerful and vibrant….. the more vibrant the color is the more I LOVE! I added my fun orange patent leather platforms for some more color.
