SPRING HAS SPRUNG WITH CHICOS
What is your favorite season? I’ve always said fall, but then when we roll around to this time of year, it suddenly becomes Spring! My mindset becomes flipped entirely! And one of the exciting things about these two seasons….. is shopping! They are hands-down the best times of the year to shop. As you know CHICOS is one of my go-to places to look for fashion, and how could you not be excited for Spring with these new arrivals…….
From Chicos linens, to their pretty florals, the high waisted white jeans, and floral coat, these pieces embody the essence of the season. Let’s talk about each look specifically and how you can mix and match these essentials to create an array of stylish outfits that celebrate spring.
Let’s start with these FLORAL PANTS and no-iron FLORAL LINEN SHIRT. This has to be one of my personal favorites, if not my fave! The pants will be so fun all summer long with a simple tee and sandals. The linen shirt is darling with any kind of denim…. I’m thinking my denim midi skirt! You see here I’ve also paired them with this NAVY SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT. It too is no-iron and so easy to travel with! I didn’t think I would like this shirt, but turns out I LOVE IT!
Next ARE these GREEN JULIET CROPPED PANTS and NAVY FRILLY SLEEVE TEE. This is the best shade of green for me, so I will find all kinds of ways to wear them. I love the idea of pairing them with a DENIM JACKET or shirt. THIS JACKET would look so classic with some NUDE SHOES (these are so comfy). The solid navy is so chic, and with the TAN FLORAL BUTTON-DOWN…. very fresh! The FLORAL COAT over the top is the icing on the cake!
Everyone should have some WHITE JEANS in their closets. This high-rise style is extremely flattering, and at 5’1.5″ I didn’t even have to hem them, but have to wear heels. I really love them, and have a feeling they will sell-out fast! The fabric and fit are phenomenal! Obviously you can put anything with white, but I chose the NAVY SHIRT and the TAN FLORAL. THIS SCARF makes a super cute belt, and the FLORAL COAT will elevate it in a split second! They are a fabulous basic essential. .
These STRIPED CROPS are really fun too. They are the perfect pair to mix some different patterns with. They are subtle enough you could even wear a thicker bold stripe with them without a problem, LIKE THIS ONE. The SCARF works really well as a belt, around your neck, or on your head. I styled them with the NAVY TEE and the WHITE FLORAL LINEN.
SPRINGTIME ACCESSORIES
When it comes to accessorizing, simplicity is what I go for. These GOLD-TIPPED FEATHER EARRINGS are such fun. If you LOVE them….. get them now, they won’t last. They also come in green and magenta. They are light, wispy and so summery! I’m such a SCARF girl. You can see here how I styled it as a belt and as a head-scarf. I keep saying that my favorite scarves are from Chicos. And finally, this cute NAVY CROSSBODY BAG. There’s a separate smaller bag inside for earbuds or credit cards. It will be perfect for all my spring and summer adventures.

Cropped pants in petite no longer look good on me. I’ve discovered a regular size in a cropped pant gives me extra length and has a more flattering look. Just slightly above the ankle- not hitting my lower calf. I think it makes my legs look longer and slimmer. 🌺
Hi Phyllis, I would have to totally agree with you. There are really very few petite sizes that I buy. A regular cropped pant hits me right where I like it too! Anything to look longer and slimmer, right???? LOL! Have a wonderful day and come back again soon! XOXO
