MERRY AND BRIGHT – GRATEFUL CELEBRATIONS
Christmas is a season of great reflection. The boundless JOY that Christmas brings always warms my heart. This year I’ve been blessed with countless moments with my kids and grandkids, that I’ve prayed for years for. They’ve definitely come in the most unexpected ways. It’s been brought to my mind, that the magic of Christmas is absolutely in these shared moments of precious time spent together!
GOD IS ALWAYS OVER ALL
Through these moments, I’ve felt such a sense of a divine presence. God has shown me that He cares deeply for us and is over all….. even in the minute details. This realization has brought me so much comfort and peace. The true essence of Christmas lies in love, gratitude, and the bonds we share with our loved ones. In fact, we can have Christmas all year long!
ESPECIALLY GRATEFUL FOR FAMILY
My bonus family has been a source of immeasurable joy as well. I’ve had them in my life now for 4+ years. They have been an invaluable influence on me and have enriched my life. It’s truly my blessing to have a second family who is respectful and kind and has always been so welcoming to me.
Christmastime also brings cherished memories of my parents. They have left behind beautiful traditions. Their legacy lives on in those traditions that I’ve carried away from my childhood. I will forever be grateful for them. Our Christmases were never big, but we always had enough. I miss my mama’s Julekake bread that she would make for all her friends and neighbors, as well as a loaf for each of her ten children. It made the most delicious toast!
I look so forward to my upcoming vacation with my grandkids. This is now our third year and could become our favorite tradition of all! Their excitement thrills me, when they repeatedly ask, “When are we going to the Grand?” Again….. the MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME are priceless!
