As the holidays are nearing, our schedules fill up quickly with all the festivities and celebrations. Amidst the excitement, it’s easy to overlook the treasures hidden in the back of your closets. These are the things that are meant for the Christmas season. In this blog, I’m sharing an easy way to rediscover them again! The JOY of dressing up for December with a curated capsule wardrobe is easy!
IT’S AS EASY AS 1-2-3
Start by setting aside some time to really go through your closet. For me, I have my main closet and two other very full closets. Keeping them organized, makes it easy to go through and pull out all the sparkles, velvets, and seasonal-specific pieces. Definitely, these are all the things that get lost in the shuffle of our daily go-to attire, but deserve to be worn throughout the month of December.
Then create a designated space in your closet for your holiday capsule wardrobe. Gather these special pieces and set them apart from the rest. In addition, arrange them in a way that makes them easily visible. For example a specific place IN THE FRONT of your closet, or a wardrobe rack. This way, when you are getting ready each day, all of these festive pieces are front and center. I promise….. you will wear them!
The beauty of this idea is that it will make your life SIMPLE throughout your celebrations! By curating a selection of your favorite festive pieces, you will eliminate the decision fatigue and create a stress-free dressing experience. It will actually make the whole process of getting ready….. a lot of fun!
