It happens every four weeks…..a fresh cut and color!
If you have a short cut, you probably know that keeping it trimmed is so important.
It can make such a difference!
While I was in Paris, my hair was pretty much driving me crazy!
I think it was mostly because I had taken the wrong type of hair paste and spray.
It’s always hard knowing when you’re traveling, what the humidity and weather are going to be,
and those two things alone can determine what type of products to use.
I wish that, especially for hairspray, they would make a travel size in the brand I like.
But they don’t, and so I have to choose one that I think will work.
I have been growing out my bangs a little, and so thought I would need a heavier spray.
Wrong! It made my hair too sticky and hard.
But since then, I’ve decided I don’t like them quite as long,
and so yesterday went in for a 15 minute trim-up on my bangs.
It feels a LOT better!
I will go in cycles with my cut, where I want a little something different,
and so will try and grow out some of the layers.
It works for a few months, maybe four, and then I’m right back in getting my spunk back!
I think the most important thing is to know what you can and can’t do with your hair.
It’s important to keep your hair up-to-date,
and I think you can do this and still maintain your type of style.
I would just tell anyone to go to a stylist who stays current in her trade,
and one who knows you, and you can trust.
Have a WONDERFUL weekend friends!
