It’s that time of year when we have the most opportunity to really DRESS UP! Undoubtedly, this is one of my favorite parts about the holidays, is wearing something a little special! I’m pretty simple when it comes to choosing pieces I want to wear for my holiday gatherings. It has to be something I can wear multiple ways… I always say, know how to wear it three ways. It definitely applies here as well, with special occasions.
I got really excited this week when I got a package from CHICOS. They have got some BEAUTIFUL holiday styles in their lineup right now. I went and shot this first look below a couple of days ago. It will be coming to you soon in a reel! The hat is DARLING! This roses poncho is warm and cozy and so easy to wear and move around in! Sequin leggings are a sassy essential for any holiday party! Would I wear them with sneakers too? Definitely, and I will!
MY TOP FIVE FAVORITE HOLIDAY OUTFITS
LOOK ONE is from CHICOS. I am loving their holiday collection. They really have some gorgeous things to choose from. This look below (and pictured above) was my FAVORITE! I’ll wear the poncho with jeans and tall boots. The leggings dressed down with an oversized sweatshirt or sweater. As well as that, these feathery flats will be adorable paired with my distressed denim!
LOOK TWO just might be what I’ll be wearing for Thanksgiving! I especially love this girly fall colored dress! It’s comfy and can be worn with flats or heels. If you need some layers, wear a denim jacket over the top or a cozy scarf. I’ve paired it with some contrasting tights that I think are such a fun pattern play. If that’s too much wear nude fishnets, OR you could wear some tall boots which would be fantastic too!
LOOK THREE is for a dazzling party somewhere. However if your family goes all out in their dress, you could totally wear it to something like that. Dress the skirt down with a fun denim shirt or an oversized white button up shirt tied in a knot. You could even wear the skirt with some sneakers in a warmer climate and a fun graphic sweatshirt! Again…. each of the pieces I’ve chosen are very versatile! It’s a fun fabulous holiday style indeed!
LOOK FOUR is such fun! Wear some metallic jeans and heels with a whimsical holiday sweater for a casual lunch date with friends or date night with your partner! I may have ordered these jeans to try out for myself! Again the sneakers would be adorable with them!
LOOK FIVE is all about PINK faux fur! I’m drooling over this jacket! It doesn’t get more girly! I’ve paired it with some faux leather crops (ON SALE) and a simple black turtleneck and colorful whimsy bow earrings. Wear this to an office party, Thanksgiving, or anything you feel like wearing PINK to!!!!
HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT CHOOSING YOUR HOLIDAY STYLE
Do you have a method in which you go about choosing your holiday style? For me I usually shop for individual pieces I love, and then I build my outfit around them. This way I always LOVE from year to year, the things I’ve chosen. I have a CHANEL chiffon skirt I’ve had for so long that I bought for a holiday party, and still it’s one of my favorites! Fabulous holiday style can be so fun making it your own and feeling a little more glam than usual!
