Over the last couple of years, I’ve really changed the way I think about fashion and getting dressed. In writing my blog and posting on my Instagram, I’ve explored all different price-points when it comes to fashion. And I’ve realized that looking polished and stylish doesn’t always have to come with a big price tag. My mind has really shifted…. just a few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it!
AFFORDABLE CAN STILL LOOK AMAZING
Don’t get me wrong….. I still love investing in certain things. A beautiful handbag, unique jewelry, or a great pair of shoes can absolutely get my attention and elevate an outfit. I’ve learned that mixing those investment items with more affordable clothing can create a look that makes me feel incredibly CHIC and put together! You can call it high/low fashion.

YOU DON’T NEED TO SPEND A FORTUNE
One of the biggest style lessons I’ve learned is that styling and fit matter more than a label. A simple Amazon dress paired with fabulous gold jewelry, a structured bag, and a great pair of sandals can honestly look just as a much more expensive outfit!
I wanted to put together these looks that feel current, flattering, wearable, and polished without completely blowing your budget. These outfits fall into the $120-$200 range, proving you absolutely can create beautiful style at a more affordable price point.
THE REALITY ABOUT AFFORDABLE FASHION
Now…… I also want to be honest here. These pieces probably won’t last forever. The fabrics and construction are not the same quality as higher-end brands, and that’s okay. I think affordable fashion has its place….. especially for trends, vacations, seasonal updates, or simply trying something new without making a huge investment.
OUTFIT ONE $139.95~ Lace balloon pants are such a hot trend right now, and I wasn’t sure about them at first….. until I got my own. They are HERE. I’ve seen them styled with tees, tanks, jackets, and sweaters. I’m definitely a fan!
OUTFIT TWO $119.96~ Summer always calls for an easy tee-shirt dress. I styled this one with an oversized denim jacket, a sporty bucket hat, a practical everyday bag, and fun sandals for a very comfortable outfit but very put together!
OUTFIT THREE $118.95~ These flowy pants are so good for weddings, showers, or any dressier summer event…. but you could also easily wear them more casually with a tank and sneakers. The blouse is gorgeous, and the gold sandals and clutch give the whole outfit that extra little something.
OUTFIT FOUR $175.59~ I love how elegant this look feels while still being incredibly comfortable at the same time. It would be beautiful for weddings, special dinners or dates, or really any special event you have planned. The dress is very understated, so I added just the right amount of accessories to amp up the look.
OUTFIT FIVE $131.21~ I’ve really been loving the longer loose shorts lately…. they are so classy, and these are beautiful. I styled them with an easy button-down shirt, strappy and sassy sandals, a fun hat and sunnies, and simple gold hoops. This is such a CHIC vacation look. I love the simplicity of it, but it still makes a statement!
OUTFIT SIX $196.85~ You really can find great prices on trendy pieces, and checks are having a moment right now. I thought these pants were darling and so right for summer. I paired them with a classic linen shirt tied in a little knot, simple sandals, and some fun drop earrings. This look even includes the cutest cropped trench jacket and my favorite sunnies from Quay. Such an easy outfit and full of fun!
OUTFIT SEVEN $192.23~ This dress is beautiful dressed up, but also looks just as good styled casually. I absolutely love having versatile pieces like this in my closet. Not only does the wrap add a little warmth, but gives the whole look such an elegant vibe. Lastly I chose comfy flat sandals and some pretty gold jewelry to finish it off.
OUTFIT EIGHT $190.89~ I love a good boho-inspired look for spring and summer, and this one is so beautiful. The colorful maxi skirt paired with the feminine top is so easy-breezy. And then the charm necklace adds the perfect touch. Add a tote and simple sandals and you’re ready for a girls lunch, date night, bridal shower, or even a casual garden wedding.
OUTFIT NINE $139.73~ This outfit may honestly be my favorite of all. I love the mix of the white eyelet with the camo…. such a fun little pattern play, but still so easy and wearable. Paired with comfy white sandals, it’s one of those outfits you could wear all day long. And can we talk about the darling bag with the scalloped edge? SO girly and fun! Minimal jewelry was really all this look needed!
OUTFIT TEN $180.96~ If you love an oversized blazer, this is a great look. Paired with cropped jeans and heels, it’s classy but still very easy for summer. The statement earrings are perfect for a relatively simple outfit. And this blazer color is incredibly versatile….. it works with so many pieces in your closet while still adding personality.
