NEW FINDS FROM ANTHROPOLOGIE
If you know me at all, you know that Anthropologie is one of my favorite places to visit. And if you’ve never been in one of their stores, you must go! It’s quite an experience…. so visually appealing! I don’t have one here where I live, so when I go visit my family, I always make time for a visit. There aren’t many times when I go, that I don’t find the most fabulous finds. This last time, I found A LOT!!! Let me show you what came home with me…..
FIRST OFF were the JEANS. Jeans of course can be styled for practically anything you need them for. I’m always looking for the latest and greatest and found two! These MID-RISE flared frayed pair, have such a great fit (pictured above). Loving this light denim, just in time for spring and summer. Second, I’ve had my eye on THIS particular pair since they were first launched. When I saw them in person, I had to have. The stenciled hearts are adorable! Wear them with your favorite tees, a button-down, or something very frilly and feminine. LOVE both pairs!
Let’s talk about the tops…. this first WHITE PUFF SLEEVE top (above) is really feminine, and the navy trim gives it a fun and playful vibe. Loved putting it with the jeans, but any bold color bottom would be super cute too. What about RED PANTS?!!
This bright RED-ORANGE TOP is much more flattering than I expected. Style it with a higher waisted bottom, because of the cropped cut. However, as a petite girl, this length is perfect! The fabric is lightweight and the lace details are really sweet. About THE HAT………. so cute, right? It comes in eight colors and is packable!
Linen lover over here, but sort of a snob about my linens. It can be really hard to find the right weight, with a pretty drape, and has a tendency to be stiff and not very moveable. BOTH of these pair are exceptional! This PALAZZO STYLE is my favorite! It has a beautiful silhouette. I can see this really dressed up, but I’m actually having them hemmed an inch, so I can wear them with a little kitten heel, for more versatility. These might be my favorite piece I brought home in this haul.
Second is this TIE-WAIST STYLE. These are made with the same good quality linen, and I love the wide legs and pockets. They have a more casual feel to them, so I had to have BOTH! Both beautiful linen pants that have a classic fit and style, so will work for a long time! I promise you will LOVE THIS LINEN!!
My next look, from the ever popular Colette collection, PANT IN GREEN, will easily be a staple for a long time. I have several Colette pants in my closet and adore them. They are comfortable and go with everything! No wonder they are an Anthro best seller. I paired it with a fruit inspired GRAPHIC TEE. Have you noticed that fruit themed clothing is all the rage this season?
This next one is the ultimate when it comes to girly, and I love it. These are actually CULOTTES, and the embroidered details are gorgeous! I will wear this like I would a skirt, and can see it with sandals, THESE KITTEN HEELS, even sneakers for a super casual look. A cute FEMININE TEE is how I chose to style it. And I say, a girl can’t have too many white tees!
LOOKING FOR A SPRING JACKET OR SWEATER?
I’ve been debating on getting a trendy CROPPED TRENCH. I don’t really need another jacket, but this is so classic, and the details are gorgeous. It’s a “special” one and thought it looked great with the light jeans. A classic look will always be in style!
An OVERSIZED CARDI is another fun trend right now. This one has a heavier weight for chilly evenings. The graphic golf print themed design is so playful and sporty, love its vibe. I’ve linked several styles here for you to shop.
THINKING DRESSES FOR SPRING
Spring and summer are my preferred seasons for dresses. It seems the older I get the more I love a pretty dress for going out, over anything else. I bought THIS ONE last spring, but in a different print, and I love it. The shirtdress is super popular right now, and a beautiful lady-like classic, and garden-inspired print. I brought it in with a LEOPARD BELT, but wear it without too.

It was definitely a fun shopping trip, and found some great fun spring finds from Anthropologie. Each piece feels versatile, and the kind of staples I know I’ll wear again and again. Whether it’s a standout blouse, an easy dress, they were a great way to spruce up my spring wardrobe! Spring is one of the most fun times to dress.
