EFFORTLESS EUROPEAN CRUISE PACKING

EFFORTLESS EUROPEAN CRUISE PACKING

I’m packing for a 13-day European cruise, and let me tell you, it’s all about finding the balance between glam for nighttime and casual comfort for daytime! I’ve chosen a color palette that centers around shades of green, blue, and neutrals, which makes mixing and matching so much easier. The goal? Pack smart but still have plenty of options without overloading my suitcase. At least I hope I won’t go over the 50lb. limit!

For daytime adventures, I’m going mostly with joggers and athleisure…. perfect for comfort and style as I explore different cities. Layers are essential this time of year, so I’ve packed lightweight sweaters, sweatshirts, tees, and a couple of jackets. For shoes, I’ve narrowed it down to just four pairs…. two for evening glam, one pair of sneakers for those long days of walking, and a comfortable pair of Chelsea boots that slip on and off easily for airport security checks.

Ok, I know there is way more here than I need….. so some MIGHT be left home IF my bag is overweight. But if it fits in my suitcase, it’s definitely going! You see I’ll be wearing very casual and comfy looks, even my jeans are comfortable. I’ll take a couple of scarves and a really cute crossbody bag from PINK COVE. It all mixes and matches together very easily, which is the smartest way to pack!

Nights will involve some faux leather, satin, feathers, embroidery, sequins, and plenty of shine. This is where I often struggle, but I’m hopeful I’ve found pieces that suit ME and make me feel perfectly dressed up. There’s also a Halloween costume night to look forward to, as well as a jammie party and a red night. You can follow along with me and my fashion on my Instagram stories, right HERE.

On our RED NIGHT, this is THE DRESS I’ll be wearing. Affordable as ever, packable, and comes in lots of colors! I’ll be wearing it with either black or brown heels and an evening bag.

I’ll also be taking this dress for evening, but I’m styling it this way…..

A couple of changes as I’ve gone through everything….. I have a maxi dress just like THIS ONE, but more of an orange and caramel color combo, that I’ve had for years. It will be coming as well. A maxi is always elegant, and this silouette is very comfortable too. And, THIS just landed on my doorstep, so also coming with me. It’s so much fun and I LOVE that it’s lightweight!

Packing for a trip like this can be tricky, but working within a color palette, as I have done here, as well as versatile pieces, makes things much easier. I’m confident I’ve packed smartly and can’t wait to put these looks together while cruising through Europe. There’s nothing worse than not having the right outfit on vacation…. would you not agree?
