Velvet Close Up

A close-up look of my ever trending VELVET T-shirt!
Since starting my blog about ten months ago,
I’m aware of my followers and readers
wanting to know where to get the clothes I’m wearing.
Most of my clothes come from Anthropologie, JCrew, or Nordstrom.
But MOST of what I post is NOT new.
Most of what I post are things I’ve had in my closet for years.
This outfit is an example,
from the T to the shoes, and even the necklace!
I’m sorry I can’t lead you all to the specific item,
but I would just encourage you to know your style,
know what stores your drawn to,
and I believe you can buy things that will last you for years as well.
This top from Anthropologie is at least five years old.
The shoes are Anthro too, and probably four years old.
The necklace is Anthropologie and I’ve had for maybe seven years.
The jeans are by Paige from Anthro, and probably three years old.
You can see, that they aren’t out-dated,
all can still be fashionably worn.
About the only thing I do differently now, is just in the way I style them.
I think when I first got this top I wore it mostly tucked in.
Some like to recycle their closet every year or two,
but I honestly don’t get rid of something,
unless there’s no more room, or it’s out of style.
 I believe if you buy things you really LOVE,
then you will be able to wear them for seasons and seasons!
