THE IDEAL PETITE JUMPSUIT
I’ve styled plenty of jumpsuits before, but this one from Chico’s is definitely a game-changer. The secret? It’s a PETITE size. No more saggy crotch or awkward proportions….. just a sleek, tailored fit that feels like it was made for me. But let’s talk about the other things I love about this one, as well as the different ways I styled it.
FABRIC THAT FEELS LIKE CHAMBRAY
The fabric itself is so soft and has a beautiful drape. It feels like chambray, which means it’s ultra comfy. Not surprising it’s from CHICO’S. I talk about their amazing fabrics all the time, and this one is no exception. Another positive about the fabric is that it’s very easy to dress up. This one is truly a year-round piece.
SUMMER: styled with flip-flops for an easy casual look
FALL: ankle boots and a turtleneck layered underneath
WINTER: lightweight cashmere sweater underneath, scarf, beanie, and a puffer coat or vest
SPRING: a floral blouse layer with some pretty kitten heels
FIVE WAYS I FOUND TO WEAR MY JUMPSUIT
FIRST off, pictured above, was with a fun graphic print shirt for underneath, gorgeous loafers (these are from THE OFFICE OF ANGELA SCOTT), colorful jewelry, crossbody bag, and finally some mirrored sunnies. A little sporty and packed with a punch!
SECOND…. it doesn’t take much to dress this jumpsuit up. I’ve paired it with some fantastic patent leather booties, a statement belt and necklace, and bold sunglasses.
THIRD is with a striped turtleneck and bright red sneakers. This is sporty and really cute for a fall weekend. I added a cropped jacket for an additional layer. Remember a scarf is a great way to change up a jumpsuit as well.
FOURTH what about a bright colored cardigan? This one is so cute and VERY affordable too. I thought the red mules were adorable with it. I switched out the removable belt and added my own….. another idea to change up a jumpsuit!
LAST is with a simple kimono. I liked the shorter style with the cropped jumpsuit. I’m wearing metallic platforms, and my DEAN DAVIDSON gold jewelry.
A True Style Transformer
