MY NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE SHOPPING GUIDE
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always worth taking a look at, because it gives us a chance to shop brand-new pieces for the upcoming season at fantastic prices! But with so many options, it’s easy to get distracted or even overwhelmed and then buy things simply because they’re on sale! My best advice? START WITH A PLAN!

MAKE YOUR LIST FIRST
Before you shop, take a quick look through your closet and decide what you actually need. Are your favorite jeans worn out? Do you need a versatile fall jacket or an updated pair of shoes? Make a list, set a budget, and focus on pieces you’ll wear often. A good sale purchase should fill a gap in your wardrobe….. not create clutter. I’m looking for workout sneakers, jammies, possibly a jacket, and I always have to take a look at the jeans! Oh and one more thing…… accessories!
SHOES YOU’LL WEAR OVER AND OVER
Shoes are always one of my first stops, because this is where you can really save! Look for comfortable sneakers, everyday flats, loafers, boots, and versatile heels. Choose styles that you know will work with several outfits and fit your real lifestyle. Comfort matters to me more and more, but that also doesn’t mean they can’t be CHIC too! FIND YOUR PERFECT DENIM
The sale is a great time to try premium denim for less. Look for the rise and wash you want. Also it’s important to remember which style you wear the most of. How much stretch do you like? Straight-leg, wide-leg, and relaxed styles are especially easy to dress up or dress down. My favorite pair are THESE.
JACKETS ARE ALWAYS A GREAT INVESTMENT
Unquestionably a beautiful jacket can completely change an outfit. Things I look for are lightweight utility jackets, denim jackets, and if you love a good blazer…. this is the time. Neutrals will give you the most versatility for sure, but a colorful statement jacket can be such fun too. Yep, you know I’ll be looking for some color! My all-time favorite is HERE.
ALWAYS A SWEATER
Of course, no fall wardrobe is complete without a great sweater. Along with jeans, jackets, and shoes, sweater season is knocking on our door! These are my top picks, but I have to admit, I’ve especially got my eye on THIS ONE.
BEAUTY FAVORITES AND SPECIAL SETS
Beauty exclusives are often some of the best values. This is a smart time to restock products you already love, and also fun to pick up something new you’ve been wanting to try. And not too soon to start thinking of Christmas gifts! This is my FAVORITE in this category, and just in time to stock up.
DON’T FORGET THE BEAUTIFUL ACCESSORIES
Last but certainly not least are accessories. Belts, handbags, sunnies, and jewelry can refresh your look in a heartbeat. Can you guess what my fave is? HERE!
