LUXURY CELEBRITY CRUISE REVIEW
Recently I went on a luxury Celebrity Cruise that took me through the Caribbean. We sailed on the beautiful REFLECTION ship to Coco Cay and Cozumel, and it was a wonderful experience! It was a journey of relaxation and adventure, from start to finish.
I’ve never been a huge fan of cruising, but this Celebrity Cruise DEFINITELY changed my mind. It was all so smooth and organized from checking on to checking off. From the attentive staff to the personalized attention to detail…. it felt like a VIP experience. Whether it was a friendly greeting from the crew or a thoughtful gesture from my cabin steward, I truly felt pampered throughout my trip. In fact the first day I received fresh flowers, fruit, and chocolate covered strawberries! WOW!
ACTIVITIES ON THE SHIP
The ship’s spa was certainly a highlight for me. I was treated to a 90 minute massage that was absolutely heavenly! The spa’s Persion Garden is an adult-only oasis that offers aqua-therapy environments from aromatic steam to tropical rain showers. This offers the best muscle and joint relief all while releasing toxins from the body. I personally loved the saunas. The atmosphere was serene and calm. It was the perfect way to set my week up for a lot of relaxing! The spa is always the best activity for sailing days, and good to book BEFORE you go.
I always appreciate a fabulous fitness center. You should see this state-of-the-art gym! It has everything from all the cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. You’ll find fresh towels and water, even yoga classes. I was there every morning working out, with the most incredible views of the sunrise!!
The entertainment on the Reflection was awesome. They really know how to create a fun atmosphere. The magic show was captivating…. how does he do it?? I wish my husband could have seen it! The live music and dancing every night were a blast. There’s also a reading room for some quiet time, shopping, an art gallery, croquet, a sports court… there are literally hundreds of activities from morning until night. The only downside is figuring out how to choose!
ABOUT THE FOOD
No cruise would be complete without exquisite dining and OPTIONS! I’m a pretty particular eater, and I was able to find all my fresh fruits and veggies. There are six specialty restaurants plus two exclusive restaurants. My favorite was the Tuscan Grille, and Sushi On Five. IF you are lucky enough to go, order Tiramisu at the Tuscan Grille! It was out of this world….. best I’ve ever had! Our lobster was prepared table-side and really fun to watch! Definitely a culinary experience! I also loved that I could order food to my room, which made it so convenient to get my work done.
OFF-SHORE EXCURSIONS
The adventures off ship, were unforgettable. First stop was Coco Cay. It was especially fun with its water slides and party vibe….. almost like a theme park feel. You can rent a private cabana, play in the water park, or spend your day on their private beach. This is actually where we spent the day. The beaches are beautiful along with delicious dining options. It was seriously THE PERFECT DAY ON COCO CAY!

Our second stop was at Cozumel. We snorkeled in the bluest waters! We had the best boat crew that took us to several places to explore the sea life. They had drinks, fresh food, all the gear, music….. I mean it was a day to remember!! The crew was so incredibly helpful in gearing us up and making sure we had a wonderful time.

Overall, my incredible luxury Celebrity Cruise was a perfect mix of relaxation, delicious food, comfortable accommodations, and exciting adventures. It was a fantastic trip that I would take again and again, as well as highly recommend!
