Do you ever have those weeks when there is so much on your calendar that’s
out of the ordinary routine of what you’re used to,
and you don’t know how you’re going to get everything done,
and then you wake up and it’s FRIDAY?!!!!!?
Well, that’s the kind of week I’ve had,
and it has caused me to think a lot about balance, and staying focused.
Do you make lists? I used to but haven’t for a long time, until THIS week!
My lists have helped me stay on track, and get the most important things done FIRST!
It seems like it should be easier than what it is!
When I become overwhelmed, I tend to get a little scatter-brainish!
Having a plan and goals is KEY, and even if you only accomplish one thing,
make it the most IMPORTANT thing!
There was something said a long time ago that’s always stuck with me,
and I’ve shared it over and over again.
In fact I ripped it out of a magazine and kept it in my car for a long time.
But it went something like this…
For the most part, everything we do in life is good.
Exercising, working, our hobbies, social life, etc. are all good things.
But when we get off-balance with any of these,
then our lives get that way too……………OFF-balance.
The challenge is to learn how to keep all of these GOOD things in balance!
Easier said than done I know,
but I believe the better we can do this, the happier our lives will be.
