FESTIVE FINDS I’M CURRENTLY WEARING
I’m already starting to think about transitioning from the holiday season of Christmas, to the new year ahead. I’ve loved wearing all my festive pieces, and don’t want to tuck them away after the party’s over. My goal is always to have a wardrobe that is fun and versatile, with items that work for any celebration….. even for everyday wear. A few of these are making their way into my suitcase for an upcoming trip! Stay tuned!! 😉
Let’s begin with this FLORAL TULLE SKIRT. I saw this online, and loved it but didn’t think it would work on me. But when I saw it in the store in Hawaii recently, I knew it was for me. The tulle is soft and has more drape than your average tulle. It’s soft and feminine and one you can wear all year long. Dressed up or down…. it lets you create effortless outfits that will fit your style! In this blog I’ve paired it with these SEQUIN STRIPES and CROPPED DENIM JACKET (this one is similar). I’ve also styled it with a beautiful CASHMERE SWEATER (this one is similar) for a dressier look. Summertime…. a tee and sneakers.
Next is this SATIN BOMBER JACKET…. a total statement maker. Whether it’s draped over your shoulders for a night out, or layered with denim and flats for a casual day, it adds a pop of vibrant color to any outfit. I’ve loved wearing it all by itself, as a top. The satin finish and embroidered details, make it feel luxe enough for fancier occasions.
And what about this PINK AND GREEN SEQUIN TOP! It’s possibly the most playful piece I own! This was another one I saw online, and didn’t really love as much as I loved it in person! For a resort look, pair it with some white pants and sandals. For winter wear it as a layer or what about a white button-down shirt underneath? It’s definitely sassy and worthy for any celebration. My favorite way however, is with jeans and some cute flats!
Lastly, I’ve got this SILVER METALLIC TEE underneath the jacket, one of the most versatile items in my closet. In fact, I have the same tee in gold and black. The tee’s subtle shimmer makes it feel festive without being over the top. It’s a great layering piece and really cute with jeans. Here I’ve got it with this BLACK VELVET SLIP SKIRT, for a sophisticated look for perhaps a holiday dinner. Style it down with a graphic sweatshirt and booties.

Without a doubt, these pieces are proof that festive doesn’t have to mean “ONLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS.” Whether you’re jetting off to the Caribbean or staying close to home, they’ll keep you shining long after the New Year’s Eve countdown ends!
