Easy Breezy Sunday Style

Some easy and breezy Sunday style right here.

Is it culottes, a skirt…..what exactly are these? And can a short girl wear them? I get so many comments from others asking me how I dare wear certain things because of my height. And these aren’t even petite! What do you think? I think it’s all about fit and proportion. It depends on what you wear with it. Heels only, or could I wear flats and a T? I’m going to try that next time, and we’ll see. I’m thinking my white Birkenstocks and a graphic T would look cute! OH….and then my hat! I would choose heels for me over flats, just because it’s a voluminous piece, and the heels obviously make me taller which helps to balance out the volume. But I think it can be done!

So these are called the “Skirted Waterfront Pants” from Anthropologie, and I LOVE them. Their ease and comfort are perfect! A skirt with pants underneath…..brilliant! I will love wearing them clear through summer, either in a dressed up kind of way, or more casual. They’re unique and fun and the bold pattern with the bits or orange are just up my alley!
