I’ve always LOVED being a girl! Sure there is part of me that LOVES to keep up with the boys, especially when it comes to sports. In fact, I was the only girl once, who jumped off of a 50′ cliff at Flaming Gorge. Seriously…..what was I thinking, and where was my mother??!!!! All it took for me, was a cute boy! But when it comes to fashion, I LOVE to be girly!
You’ve heard me talk about my love for dresses! I do wear my fair share of jeans, but especially during the summer, I prefer dresses! It makes me feel feminine and I think they are so much cooler on hot days! And they are so effortless! Put your dress on, and a cute pair of earrings and your favorite lipgloss and you are good to go! I always wear one on SUNDAY, but during the week too, even if it’s just running errands! It’s a great way to lift you out of a rut and help you feel BEAUTIFUL!
I’ve linked some for you here, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE IS ON SALE! Tis the season for SALES, right??? When I want my dress to be more casual, I’ll wear it with sneakers, flip-flops, or flat sandals! HAPPY SUNDAY FRIENDS….and please ENJOY!

ANTHROPOLOGIE SALE – 20% through tonight
I certainly wasn’t with you at Flaming Gorge!!! xoxoxo
Boy…..thank heavens!!! I sure did have me some guts back then!!!!! It was that boy’s fault!!! ๐ ๐ ๐
I agree! Dresses are way better for my hot and humid southern climate. A few years ago I taught summer classes at a community college and had to ditch my uniform of tees, shorts and cropped jeans for a more professional look. Iโve kept the cool dress tradition (with a more casual vibe) even though I am not teaching these days.
Love your dress, and the other examples you linked were beautiful! My size sold out in the cutest ones, but Anthropology regularly has gems like these.
Allison hello!!! And I think that they are way more versatile these days, because of the versatility of dresses mixed with sneakers!!!!! Thanks for stopping by! XO
Ah yes, the good old days…how on earth did we ever survive lol. Now, our poor parents would be put behind bars, and charged with neglect!!! But thatโs the way we grew up. My kids say they wished they grew up in those times. I so do love the white dress your wearing. Girly, summery, laid back. It just makes sense to wear dresses in the summertime.
HI Do you think over 50s can wear over the knee boots? I am only 5’4″ and bought a pair of low heel grey boots but donated them to my local charity shop. Do you think they are here to stay and we will get so use to seeing them that I won’t think no only for the young ones. Already I have got use to distressed jeans not over distressed just a little that I think now maybe i could wear them.
