COMFY OUTFITS FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS
This Christmas season will be an “extra” one for me in many ways. It will be celebrated with my extra family, with extra celebrations, extra busy days, and for sure extra fun! My bonus family will all be here, which means there will be a lot of us. With that comes plenty of activities…. game nights at home, outdoor adventures, taffy making, movies and more. Everything that is planned is relaxed and laidback, but being the fashionista that I am….. I still want to look my best.

So…. let me share with you my ideas of all the things that I’ll be wearing throughout the holidays. Comfort is always top priority.
COZY GATHERINGS AT HOME
For those gatherings in someone’s home, or hosting, comfort is essential. I usually go for a soft comfortable set with some fabulous shoes. Oftentimes I’ll wear some soft palazzo pants and an oversized sweater with some flats. These outfits have to feel easy and yet still look intentional.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
A bike ride on our electric bikes is going to be one of my favorites! Practical layers are key. We live in a mild winter climate, so full sun but it can still be cold…. especially on a bike. Leggings or jogger pants for me, with lightweight knits, vests, or a long sleeve jacket layer on top. I’ll definitely be bringing my beanie, and the sneakers have to be stylish too! AN OUTING TO THE HOT SPRINGS
A visit to the hot springs calls for comfort above all else. I’ll be wearing my swimsuit underneath a pair of cozy sweats. This will make it easy to slip in and out of while staying warm before and after. These sets are everywhere, and women of all ages are wearing them. I’ve got several and love…. there’s nothing more warm or cozy! My beanie will be on hand as well for this outing. A laidback soak in the red rocks sounds amazing!
GOING TO THE MOVIES
Movies are much more fun in a comfortable, and cozy outfit. The khaki slouchy pants set the tone with a relaxed vibe, while the colorful cardigan has all the festive feels. And, of course, I always add a scarf…. not necessarily as an accessory, but as a must-have for warmth in a cold theatre. This look is super practical, but still polished.
TAFFY MAKING DAY
For taffy making, this look is comfortable but still has a festive twist. The black jeans have just a hint of sparkle, while the graphic sweatshirt keeps things relaxed and playful. I will be wearing these brown kitten heel booties all season long…. they definitely make my feet happy. The festive scarf finishes everything off perfectly.
A DAY JUST FOR THE GIRLS
This year, we’re going to have a day just for the girls. Because of that, this is where I would dress for them, as much as I would for myself. Above all, CHIC is the key word here. Not only will girls appreciate all the effort you put into your look, but I truly believe they’ll be the ones who notice the details the most! Ultimately, these outfits will work perfectly for lunch, shopping, or even just hanging out.
