VIETNAM & THAILAND PACKING GUIDE
I’ve been preoccupied for a couple of weeks, because……. I’ve been packing for Vietnam and Thailand! Not only have I always wanted to visit that part of the world, but I’m also thrilled to be sailing with Celebrity Cruises, my top-recommended cruise line….. they’re truly extraordinary. As I’ve been getting everything together, I’ve clearly loved building a travel capsule. There’s something so satisfying about pulling outfits together, making sure everything mixes and matches, and creating a cohesive wardrobe that works seamlessly for two full weeks. When it comes to what I packed, many pieces are from AMAZON, along with a few favorite finds from FREE PEOPLE and several tried-and-true staples straight from my own closet. And of course, with warm, humid weather in mind, breathable fabrics and easy silhouettes were key.
SEADAY ATTIRE
For sea days, comfort is everything. I packed lightweight and easy pants, shorts, tanks, tees, and a couple of dresses that can double for evening. Sea days can be anything, and I like them to be easy and relaxed. I’m a pretty simple girl (relatively speaking I guess), and don’t require a lot of stuff! I like my pieces to work multiple ways, which makes traveling less stressful.

SWIM ATTIRE
I’m only packing two to three swimsuits for this trip. I haven’t fully decided on a third yet. One is a FLAXMAKER set that makes such a statement and can easily be worn into almost any restaurant, which I love. The second is an AMAZON SUIT with a crochet cover-up that has the perfect beachy vibe. The cover-up doubles as a top with white denim shorts and a simple tank, so super versatile. Since I’m not one to wander around in swimsuit all day, two may honestly be plenty…. bet we’ll see how much room I have left in my suitcase!
EXCURSIONS
Excursions in Vietnam and Thailand mean heat and humidity, so I prioritized airy fabrics. Think loose and breathable tanks, and lightweight wide-leg pants. Comfy walking sandals and sneakers indeed are a must. Everything layers easily with a crossbody bag and affordable sunglasses. Pieces can mix back with sea day staples, which keeps my suitcase light but versatile.

NIGHTTIME
Evenings call for elevated looks, but I still want comfy! For a relaxed and refined look, opt for loose dresses and skirts, linen pants, and simple tops. Then, finish it off with strappy sandals and statement jewelry. I kept it simple but polished…. pieces that feel special without sacrificing comfort in the warm night air.

TRAVEL
Travel days are especially all about ease and more importantly comfort. Since this flight is really long, those two are essential. I always take pieces that work throughout my trip as well. This time I’m wearing lightweight joggers, a loose tee, sweatshirt, and pull-on sneakers. Above all, always take a sweater or a jacket for chilly airports and planes.
