EFFORTLESS DAILY MAKEUP ROUTINE
I’ve always believed in keeping my makeup routine simple and natural-looking. No complicated techniques or heavy contouring here….. just a fresh and polished look that doesn’t take a lot of time. Over the years, I’ve found a few key products that I absolutely love, making my routine a breeze.
MY GO-TO ESSENTIALS
One of these is my foundation. I have used THIS from CHANEL for I don’t know how many years. I love the way it goes on….. applying it with my fingers. It provides just the right amount of coverage while feeling light on my skin. I’ve recently discovered THIS from Laura Mercier, a tinted moisturizer with an SPF 30. I alternate between the two, really depending on what I’m doing. The CHANEL foundation is more everyday, or going out, and the Laura Mercier is for golf.
Two other favorites of mine, are THIS eyeshadow primer, and THIS foundation primer. The eyeshadow primer may seem like an extra step, but the difference is remarkable. If you don’t use a shadow primer THIS is the one. I just rub it on with my fingertips. The foundation primer too, is something that I don’t skip because it helps your foundation stay longer and look better. When applying my primer I have been adding in a drop of THIS bronzing product. The difference again, was so noticeable I don’t think I’ll ever NOT use it. I LOVE the glow it gives me.
One last product that I LOVE and have used for a while now is THIS mascara. It doesn’t smudge, clump, and goes on easy even with the second coat. It took me forever to find a mascara that doesn’t smudge up onto my brown bone. I’ve been so happy with this one!

LAURA GELLER’S BAKED STARTER KIT
In THIS REEL, I’m sharing a recent discovery that’s been perfect for my travels….. LAURA GELLER’S BAKED STARTER KIT. It just happens to be ON SALE and is super versatile. It contains almost everything I need except for my primers, mascara, and foundation.
I start with a clean, moisturized face….. this step is non-negotiable for a smooth and even makeup application. First, I prime my eyelids to ensure my eye makeup stays put. Then, I apply a base shadow, followed by a darker shade in the crease. Then I use an even darker color to deepen the outer corners for subtle definition. A bit of eyeliner along my lash line, blended softly to the outer lower corners, and a coat of mascara complete the eyes.
Next, I apply foundation primer mixed with a bronzer and my foundation, which I like to blend in with my fingers. A touch of blush and a hint of highlighter add a natural flush and glow. For my brows, I use a little hairspray on a brush to set them in place…. perfect for my tinted and laminated brows. I finish off with either lip gloss or lipstick, rarely bothering with a lip pencil.
