FAUX FUR OR NO?
It used to be… way back when, I would turn my nose up at faux fur. It simply couldn’t compare to the real thing, at least in my opinion. Fast forward to today, and I’ve done a complete 180! It has evolved to the point where it’s just as luxurious, warm, and beautiful as the real stuff. And let’s be honest…. it’s a far more acceptable choice in today’s world!
Take this fabulous jacket I’m wearing here from FIBFLX. This is a brand I’ve recently discovered and absolutely love. The soft brown color is so elegant, perfectly complementing almost anything in my winter wardrobe. And let’s talk warmth! It’s incredibly cozy, even in the chilliest of temperatures. WATCH MY REEL HERE, and you’ll see when we photographed this, it was in the snow, and I was more than warm! This particular JACKET is called the FAUX TOSCANA SHEARLING JACKET. I love the detail of the toggle closures and the shorter length is perfect for me. It’s adorable!
The best part about faux fur? It’s so accessible. You can find it everywhere. And not only in coats and jackets, but tops, accessories, even shoes! I just recently stumbled on a vest that is so much like my real one, I could hardly tell the difference. And the price tag of course, is so much kinder!
