MOVING INTO FALL WITH CHICOS
This time of year has always been one of my favorite to shop. As we move from summer into fall, it’s the perfect opportunity to add transitional pieces that not only feel fresh and stylish but also versatile enough to carry you through the season. And once again, Chicos has delivered with their latest new arrivals….. great fits, fabulous fabrics, and standout details that make everyday dressing so much fun!
I recently went to their store here where I live, to check out the latest. I’ve said this before, but I’m always surprised at what I see in-store that I somehow miss when I’m shopping on-line. Check out my favorites…. I’m even giving you ideas in how to style these for much cooler weather.
EXTRA EMBELLISHED JEANS
Take these EMBELLISHED JEANS, (pictured above) for example. Wouldn’t you agree that they’re EXTRA?! The embroidery and grommet details make them truly special…. far from your average denim. They bring an elevated flair while still being casual and comfortable. I love them paired with a simple SOFT TANK and neutral wedges, but they’d also look amazing moving into fall with a chunky sweater or even a tailored blazer. And what about the holidays with some booties and maybe some red? Very CHIC! These jeans really show how Chicos knows how to mix classic staples with unique and statement-making touches.
UPDATED AND MODERN KHAKI PANTS AND SHORTS
Another favorite from their new arrivals? These WIDE-LEG KHAKI PANTS. They’re an instant wardrobe workhorse you could say. Comfy, modern, and really flattering. I styled them here with a STRIPED SWEATER for that easy, Parisian vibe. But imagine them with a classic white button-down, loafers, and a denim jacket or colorful cardigan. They’d also be cute with your favorite tees and sneakers for weekends or travel. Pieces like this are what make building an effortless wardrobe so fun. You can create countless outfits from just one well-made pair of pants.
For warmer fall days, Chicos KHAKI SHORTS are darling. Pair them with a NAVY STRIPE TOP, a look that’s casual yet sophisticated. Or wear them with a denim shirt, blazer, or a fun jacket. I would also wear these shorts out golfing, or out to lunch with friends. They’re a classic as well, and I promise you’ll get so much wear-time out of these. I’ve also styled them with the TANK and SCARF for a dressier look.
SOFT FALL MONOCHROME LOOK
Next up some pink colored SLIM-FIT ANKLE PANTS, and multi-colored CARDIGAN and TANK. This monochromatic look is a bit unexpected for fall, but I LOVE it. It will pair beautifully with shades of mocha. Wear them all together, or break them apart for endless mix-and-match options, it’s one of those outfits that truly does it all! Travel, work, date nights, you name it.
BEAUTIFUL BROWN MAXI
Lastly…. and MY FAVORITE! A beautiful BROWN MAXI. It’s simple, flattering, versatile, and it’s coming with me on my European vacation next month! I’ve added a wide belt to mine, but wear it without for a more laid-back vibe. It’s absolutely beautiful, right?
