PANTONE 2025 COLOR – MOCHA MOUSSE
The 2025 Pantone Color of the Year, MOCHA MOUSSE, is rich, warm, and more versatile than you’d think. I’ve been loving the browns for a while now, but I’ll admit….. I haven’t bought much. I always gravitate toward bright and vibrant colors instead, but MOCHA? This shade is gorgeous, especially when paired with my favorite bold hues!
Think about these possibilities….. MOCHA with red, yellow, green, purple, pink, blue, or orange. It acts as a grounding neutral while allowing vibrant shades to mix in beautifully. I think it’s my new favorite neutral color! Now, you might see some of these as gray, but I see them as mocha. What do y’all think?
On a recent shopping trip to TARGET, I scouted out the best pieces in MOCHA. I was hoping to find a dress, skirt, or blouse, but mostly found athleisure-wear. I found a SWEATSHIRT, HOODIE, SWEATER, JOGGERS, SWEAT PANTS, CORDUROY PANTS, DRESS PANTS, and a fabulous COAT. My faves are the dress pants, which remind me so much of Chico’s brand, and the coat is just AWESOME!

STYLING MY MOCHA FINDS
After I got these pieces home, I wasn’t sad about all the athleisure. They align with all the styles, fabrics, and colors of my big brand names. These sweat pants have the perfect high-waisted fit and wide-leg. Absolutely love! The sweatshirt is made from a luxe scuba-type fabric. Wear it out or tie it up as I’ve done here. The perfect one to layer underneath! I bought it a little oversized for the most current vibe. Each look has been styled with this DARLING TEE. It comes in four colors.
These joggers are so comfy and again….. so much like my high-end brands. They’ve got a high-waist with pockets. I tied the cozy sweater around my shoulders for this look, which can easily be thrown on if you get cold. You’ll see the sweater has a longer cut and would be cute with just a pair of leggings and boots.
Ok…. the fit on these mocha corduroy pants is amazing. I was so surprised at how much I loved these. I styled them with the sporty hoodie and then dressed them up with some snakeskin booties. A juxtaposition vibe is always going to be my favorite!
The mocha sweater is the ultimate in cozy comfort! It’s incredibly soft and versatile…. wear it with or without a belt. Perfect for travel, it pairs beautiful with these brown pants and gray kitten heels. I liked it most with the belt, and adding the shoes really elevates the whole look.

MOCHA MOUSSE, our Pantone Color of the Year, is a beautiful neutral on its own or with color. Definitely NOT boring. All of these pieces from TARGET are budget-friendly and have satisfied my need for Mocha in my wardrobe. I also found THIS EYESHADOW PALATE in mocha brown and LOVE!
