Tis The Season For Sequins

Tis the season for sequins……at a joyous celebration OR in the dessert! And I’m really serious! Sequins can be worn anywhere! It just all depends on HOW! I found this dress and loved it because first the color is amazing. A neutral PINK! Second, it’s super comfy with the tunic styling. The velvet belt pulls it all together OR you can wear it without the belt! And third, I liked that you can wear it with leggings or jeans. Just cinch it up so it’s not too long!

I paired this with perhaps some unexpected footwear. These snakeskin booties I thought were a fun mix! And they are so uber inexpensive which make them all that much better! I’ve worn these EVERYWHERE! You can find them here.

These are one of my FAVORITE sequined things in my closet. I loved them last winter! I’ve never really dressed them up, so maybe they could be a part of my holiday celebrations for this year?!!

I’ve found some really CUTE great sparkly and pretty things, that NOW would be the time to pick up for the holidays. Remember that if you pair sequins with maybe like jeans and sneakers, it looks adorable and makes your sequins look very casual. It’s up to WHAT YOU PAIR YOUR SEQUINS WITH, that makes all the difference!

MY FAVORITE SEQUINNED PIECES FOR ANYTIME!

I wanted to give you just one FABULOUS idea of how I would wear SEQUINS during the week and then on Saturday!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to be fancy!

Isn’t this more laid-back look A-DORABLE??? This is so fun on a Saturday with the sneakers! The pants then can be worn in a very dressed up as I have shown above! Really fabulous with a classic blazer and pumps.

Any of the skirts I have linked up here can be worn with a nice cashmere sweater OR a graphic tee. Remember it’s what you put with what that can set the mood for your look! I’ve said it many times…JUXTAPOSITION is my favorite!

JUXTAPOSITION ~ the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.

So get those SEQUINS out and ROCK your own individual STYLE for the holidays or for ANYTIME! Tis the season for sequins!

  1. I always thought of “my Grandma” when I would think of sequence. It went with being elderly, clothing having no shape, and just dated. Reading your blog and looking at the clothing and how you have it paired has opened my eyes to possibilities. It appears cute, fun, and trendy. I am over 50 and struggling to find clothing to show my quirkiness in a young and fashionable way. I am glad I found your blog…I have hope 😎 Oh…and I have never subscribed to a blog before. Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.

  2. I too felt the same way about sequins. I am starting to warm up to it, but only if it doesn’t look like Grandmas lol
