Good morning tribe! I had a busy day yesterday, as we celebrated Pioneer Day here in Utah. We have such a rich heritage here and the sacrifice of our early pioneers is ever present in our minds!
I’ve talked about these Eliza J Dresses a couple different times recently. They are really so flattering on, and right now Nordstrom has a lot of them ON SALE!!!! In fact all of the ones linked here, are ON SALE!!!!! I have loved wearing them this summer! They could be worn to a wedding, to the office, or just casually out and about! If you love dresses, now is the time to snatch up some really cute Elize J’s!!!!!
I’ve styled this one with some green and navy floral heels. I bought these a couple of years ago at Anthropologie, so sold out. But I loved the play on patterns between the two. I added my chandelier bluish earrings to bring out the blue in the shoes. Again, these are sold out.

What you need is your own custom dressmaker! That would be fun, right??? XO
This dress would work in the sleeve and neck, but not the length. If I tried to wear it I would look like a tree! xoxo

That is the cutes Dress, it looks great on you but than you look good in anything you wear. The Shoes are adorable and look sooooo good with the Dress. Love the whole Outfit. I hope I get to meet you someday it’s on my Bucket List. Take care, and have more fun. XXXO Rita

So many different types of dresses, really it looks like there could be one for just about anybody. For me, there are MANY times clothing off the rack needs to be altered in some way, hemmed, sleeve adjustments, pittley stuff. True it adds to the cost, but you end up with a garment customized to you! It takes some knowledge as to what worth it etc. a good seamstress is like a best friend !!lol
Cheryl I agree with you that a good seamstress is INVALUABLE!!!! If you love something and a seamstress can make it work, then I say it’s worth it!!! XO
